Vanakam , Im this wacky, crazy, obsessive, compulsive, so-so looking, super enthu, sometimes bitchy,Iyer atthu tamizh ponnu.I recently happened to read that blog of Archana Kumar , which was crashing on all tamilbrahm facebook accounts at least ;) motivated me to write my version to it ;) may be in a detailed manner.

Hailing from a very orthodox tamil patru family ;) my grandfather has won kalaimamani, my mom speaks crystal clear tamil, and dad is a pro in 5 different languages ( he doesn’t mix any of them ;) and I have written numerous dictations all in school and home to ensure I don’t miss match the Kae and Ko in tamil, yea..all this chinna NA and periya NA also . (OK fine, enough statistics given for my tamil pattru )

And I happened to marry this boy, Tamil iyer only :P (But born and brought up in Kerala ) but you see in my case it was different..he moved to Chennai and the vandarai vazha vaikum ooru welcomed him with both hands.

This is what I haaaaaaaaaate about keralites (obviously not all keralites are like that, but you get what I mean).and I married him and my tamil ran away ( Just joking yaar )

But he is the most relaxed and peace loving person I have ever met, extremely passionate, hardworking and apparently, every Mallu (speaking) knows every other Mallu, very well and he is already famous in my apartment and he likes Rajinikanth :P

My Love Affair with...

Food is very intrinsic to our living. No food, no life. Food is so varied that one can never claim to know all there is to know about food. Who could a foodie be ?  Someone who only eats organic, would turn their nose up at a Three Cheese burger, and only ‘dines’ in restaurants that have added a 12.5% service charge to the bill?

Well, that’s…..not me. I eat everything and anything that is vegetarian and prefer to pay whatever great service deserves.  This blog is just my attempt to share with my readers what intrigues and excites me about food. I love to experiment and play in the kitchen, and also intend to provide recipes and techniques for the foods.

Now to tell about me, Im a Financial Analyst ( Atleast in papers ) , I tend to cook hearty family and  also enjoy experimenting those fancy food recipes from Pinterest . One of my favorite hobby is shopping.

Still, I have a lot to learn, and I hope that you will enjoy exploring the food blog with me in the coming months.
